In this series, I explored the boundaries of visual perception and atmosphere through photographic experimentation. Influenced by the aesthetic of The Matrix, I intentionally edited both images to create a digital, almost dystopian tone — applying green hues and grain to simulate the look of degraded surveillance footage or corrupted data.
The first image uses a slow shutter speed, capturing motion as it unfolds over time. Instead of freezing a moment, it paints a continuous trail of movement, blurring the lines between subject and space.
In contrast, the second image is a still, but the same green tint and graininess gives it a sense of unease — as though something beneath the surface is quietly malfunctioning.
Together, they form a small study in atmosphere, control, and disruption. A nod to the ways digital aesthetics can reshape our emotional response to photography.
